Dong A Trading Co., Ltd. operates in the fields of manufacturing and supplying virgin plastic, recycled plastic, plastic scrap, and various iron and steel products.

With nearly a decade of experience, Dong A has progressively developed its production systems, supply sources, and networks of domestic and international partners. We continuously expand our product portfolio, enhance our supply capabilities, and proactively meet the market's increasingly diverse needs.

2. History of Formation and Development

Starting as a small-to-medium-sized enterprise dealing in plastic scrap, Dong A Trading Co., Ltd. has gradually expanded its scale, diversified its product portfolio, and built up supply capabilities in the plastics and iron & steel sectors.

Established in 2016, Dong A began operations by purchasing and trading plastic scrap, focusing on sourcing materials from craft villages and regions outside Hanoi. This period laid the foundation for the company's market expertise, supply network, and partnerships.

2016 – 2018: Laying the Foundation

Focused on the procurement and trading of plastic scrap, gradually building a network of suppliers and customers, primarily in areas outside Hanoi.

2019: Expansion into Plastic Resin and Plastic Products

Dong A expanded its operations to include plastic resin and plastic products alongside its plastic scrap business. Revenue exceeded VND 10 billion, with plastic resin emerging as a key product line.

2020: Strong Growth

Revenue reached over VND 61 billion, with business activities focused primarily on plastic resin products and the domestic market.

2021: Business Scale Expansion

Revenue exceeded VND 125 billion. Dong A gradually increased the trading of imported plastic products—with imports accounting for approximately 10% of the total—alongside domestic sourcing.

2022: Continued Market Expansion

Revenue reached approximately VND 242 billion; the company maintained its focus on plastic products and gradually enhanced its import capabilities, with an expected import share of around 10%.

2023: Stable Growth

Revenue reached approximately VND 301 billion. Business operations continued to expand, with the share of imports rising to approximately 20%, thereby contributing to the diversification of supply sources and product offerings.

2024: Strengthening supply capabilities

Revenue reached approximately VND 339 billion. Dong A continued to develop its plastics business while maintaining an import share of around 20%, aiming to establish a more stable and diverse supply base.

2025: Scaling up to a new level

Revenue surpassed VND 400 billion, marking a significant milestone in Dong A’s journey. The company expanded its business portfolio to include plastic resins, plastic products, and iron and steel, while maintaining import activities at a level of approximately 20%.

Beyond the plastics and iron and steel sectors, Dong A also gradually expanded into the hotel business, aiming to build a multi-sector business ecosystem and create new foundations for future growth.

From its initial steps in the scrap plastics sector, Dong A has evolved into an enterprise with diverse supply capabilities in the plastics and iron and steel industries, backed by a solid foundation of experience, a network of partners, and an ever-expanding scale of operations.
